About the Artist
Christine Andrews has been a participating docent with Jasper Ridge since 1984. She received her B.A. in Art from
San Jose State University and has studied biological and botanical illustration in workshops and studio settings.
She is interested in exploring various techniques combining the study of nature with drawing.
Her plant illustrations appear in "Successful Perennials for the Peninsula" published by the Western Horticultural Society. Chris's photographs appear in A Book of Salvias by Betsy Clebsch and in Landscaping with Perennials by Emily Brown.
