To aid emergency responders, we recently obtained official addresses for most Jasper Ridge gates.  Our direct mailing and Main Gate address remains the same:
• 4001 Sand Hill Road, Woodside, CA 94062

In addition, other gates now have addresses as follows:
• Whiskey Hill Gate - 3999 Sand Hill Road, Woodside CA 94062
• Escobar Gate - 315 Escobar Road, Portola Valley, CA 90428
• Mapache Gate - 20 Mapache Court, Portola Valley, CA 94028.

Two other relevant addresses are:
• 300 Ansel Lane, Menlo Park, CA 90428 - identifies the gate between Jasper Ridge and the LAMSAC facility just north of our border on the northeast side of the preserve, and:
• Webb Ranch, 2720 Alpine Road, Portola Valley, CA 90428 - identifies access to Jasper Ridge along the preserve’s southeast border.

As a general guide the map above identifies the sectors of the preserve linked to each address.

To facilitate the most rapid response in the event of emergency, call 650-363-4911 (San Mateo Sheriff Dispatch) or 911, tell the dispatcher you are at Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve, and give them the access address for the sector of the preserve in which you are located.  After you call emergency response dispatch, immediately call a Jasper Ridge staff member (numbers below) to inform them of the situation and they will also contact emergency dispatch to guide them to your location.

We hope, of course, that no one ever has occasion to use this information.  Be safe out there.
