Abstract:

Despite the many years of study done at Jasper Ridge, the bat species have never been identified. To address this question I conducted a survey of Jasper Ridge. By using a bat detector and the Anabat system I found 5 different bats: Eptesicus fuscus, Myotis californicus, Myotis yumanensis, Myotis evotis or volans and an unknown species. I also identified different foraging sites.
