Community Lectures and Events

Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve ('Ootchamin 'Ooyakma) hosts events for the Stanford community and the public. Our Community Lecture Series showcases speakers and topics relevant to local natural history, the natural sciences, traditional ecological knowledge, and environmental justice. These events take place during the academic year and are open to the public.

We maintain a listserv of opportunities where members of the public can apply for classes, internships, and volunteer for stewardship days. If you would like to be added, please send a request to jasperridge [at] stanford.edu (jasperridge[at]stanford[dot]edu) and a member of our staff will be in touch.
