Species of Concern

The preserve is home to several species of concern.  Species of concern are those identified by governmental agencies or selected NGOs (such as the California Native Plant Society, National Audubon Society etc.) as being potentially at risk regionally. Many of these species are associated with habitats that have become regionally rare and/or have been significantly impacted by human development and activities.
