CAL FIRE
CAL FIRE offers partnership and support from our local unit (San Mateo - Santa Cruz, CZU) for developing wildfire resilience through fuel reduction and prescribed burning at the preserve.
Woodside Fire Protection District (WFPD)
Woodside Fire Protection District (WFPD) regularly works with our local responding fire district to expand fuel breaks along the perimeter of the preserve. WFPD provides regular fire tours for District staff to be familiar with all vehicle gates, bridges, major fire roads, major experiments, facilities, and sensitive areas such as the serpentine grassland.
Fire Safe San Mateo County
Fire Safe San Mateo County (Fire Safe Council) hosts an annual Fire Safe Council BBQ at Jasper Ridge as a community event for fire agency personnel, fire practitioners, and community members.

Heritage Services
Part of Stanford Land Use and Environmental Planning
Stanford University lands contain nearly 100 archaeological sites and over 50 historic structures. The historians and archaeologists working in Heritage Services conduct archival research and write historic and archaeological reports, perform surveys and excavations, map and record sites and structures, and provide construction monitoring services.
