Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve (JRBP) at Stanford University is seeking an Executive Director. This position manages day-to-day operations at Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve, and supervises a staff that consists of staff scientists, educators, technology specialists, and operations personnel. The Executive Director sets and oversees the budget in consultation with the Faculty Director, and supports the Faculty Director to accomplish the research, education, and conservation programs that align with the mission of Jasper Ridge and Stanford University. The person in this position will foster partnerships with a multitude of other Stanford departments and units that rely on Jasper Ridge for teaching, research, outreach, and land stewardship projects, as well as with community collaborators and outside entities important in regional land management (e.g., regional stewardship and biodiversity conservation networks, fire agencies, etc.). Demonstrated commitment to Jasper Ridge’s pledge of being a safe and welcoming place for discovery, discussion, and community for people of all cultures and identities is essential.
