Education Program Collaborators
JRBP is a big place with a small staff so collaboration is one of our keys to success. Some important strategies include: tiered mentoring, talented volunteers and like-minded colleagues both within the university and in the greater community. Collaboration is especially important in the implementation of the JRBP outreach programs, teacher workshops and promoting student participation in research.
Some of our collaborations include:
Coalition on the Public Understanding of Science (COPUS)
Jasper Ridge staff and affiliates work closely with COPUS to promote the public understanding of science.
California Academy of Sciences: Teacher Institute on Science and Sustainabilty (TISS)
TISS teachers participate in annual teacher workshops at JRBP
Stanford SEEDS Chapter
Stanford SEEDS is responsible for the success of the REAL program and the Stanford BioBlitz.
